I am a volunteer project archivist for the Washington County Archives (TN), a digital transcriber for the Smithsonian Institution, and a member of the Society of Tennessee Archivists.
I am a past project archivist for the Exchange place Living History Farm in Kingsport, TN and a former intern for the Archives of the City of Kingsport.
I promote local and personal family history research and archives awareness.
This blog began on June 4, 2012 as a daily record of a 5-week practicum at the LDS Church History Library and Archives (CHL) in Salt Lake City, UT, June – July of 2012. My experience there included: Conservation, Reference, and Collections Processing. During the last three weeks I processed the The Hugh B. Brown Family Papers.
